Step 1: Cleanse with the Foam Cleanser — lather on wet hands, rub gently over tattoo, rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry. Step 2: Apply a thin layer of Healing Gel — pat gently, do not rub. Repeat twice daily for 7–14 days.
When should I start using the Aftercare Duo?
Begin after your first tattoo wash, typically 4–6 hours after getting inked or as directed by your artist. The critical healing window is the first 24–48 hours, so starting early helps prevent infection and supports faster recovery.
What should I use after the healing period ends?
After 2–4 weeks when your tattoo is fully healed, transition to the Flaunt Your Ink Daily Tattoo Moisturiser for hydration and the SPF 50 Tattoo Sunscreen + Shiner for UV protection. The Aftercare Duo handles healing; moisturiser and sunscreen handle long-term maintenance.
Is one Aftercare Duo enough for a large tattoo?
One duo covers the full 2–4 week healing period for a medium-sized tattoo. For large pieces, full sleeves, or back work, a second kit may be needed to avoid running out during the critical healing window.
